The Nationwide press release says (footnote 6) "Existing members will benefit from the increase in their introductory rate for the remainder of their term i.e. if they have held account for 3 months, the new 2.00% rate will apply for the remaining 9 months of the introductory period."

What does that mean?  Does it mean long-standing members won't get the 2% rate on the Flex Instant Saver?  Or does it mean they will (for 12 months) if they haven't had a Flex Instant Saver before?
They're presumably talking about members who already hold the account and are part way through the introductory one year period and for them, the new 2% rate will only apply to the remainder of the first year.

Not sure why they felt the need to spell that out - seems obvious to me that the introductory period wouldn't be reset by a rate increase part-way through.

    Thanks @ForumUser7.

Skipton Easy Access added to the 'ToTP' ranked Top Easy Access accounts list..
    ..in new section 'Up Coming'.

Easy Access Saver - Skipton Building Society

Why? Well I don't think it's right that an account that actually pays only 1.40% should occupy a slot at 1.90% for the next 2 weeks until the 'promised' rate becomes available.

But it is worth knowing it's on its way, so it's included.

No Virgin linked saver on there yet SS?
Thanks @ veryintrigued - it is now. :+1:

Just managed to open my Al Rayan Everday Savers at 2.35% and I notice the minimum deposit is 5k. Does this have to be done in the first transfer? Bit confused sorry if I sound stupid here

Just spoke to Gatehouse about the easy access account.
No rate rise, in fact the easy access account has been withdrawn.
    Off to Charter for me
    Perhaps not...

@soulsaver Charter EA Issue 28 no longer available.

Thank you! I get my monthly interest on the 8th from Zopa should I wait until then to move it over or would it be fine to move it all now? Would I still get the interest off of Zopa for this month?

if i was you, i would start moving now, leave a £ in zopa, the interest will be added on the 8th after which you can close off zopa

I will be opening an Al Rayan account today and start moving over from Zopa. I'm not sitting on my hands any longer.
