Yes, Al Rayan recently increased their expected profit rate to 2.35% - the best buy tables haven't been updated yetwiseonesomeofthetime said:

I just wish I could withdraw some of that to pay my direct debits today.Daliah said:
Why don't you trust them?
The Sharia accounts are as save as any other account as they have the same FSCS protection as others do. They just generally give you better returns than non-Shariah accounts.

Hi KM. I'm not aware of a 'no chat' option on MSE? I'm happy to be educated.km1500 said:@soulsaver please could you start a nochat version of this thread and put your table on page 1
If there is a no chat option I'd happily consider it.
In the mean time the table is fixed and maintained on page 700 (unless I find a reason to change it) and the link in my signature takes you directly there.

If that new thread wasn't locked, then you would simply get chat there too. If you want a list of the best easy access savings accounts without any discussion, then I would check out comparison likes like Moneyfacts or Savings Champion.km1500 said:@soulsaver please could you start a nochat version of this thread and put your table on page 1

There is no particular 'nochat' setting but this is an example of a nochat thread (run by @soolin) - ie just the announcement is made and the chat delegated to another thread:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3824175/free-listing-email-alerts-no-chat#latest
You can then subscribe to the nochat version to just get interest rate updates or to the main thread to get everything.

Does anyone know how long it takes for payments to show with Yorkshire Building Society? Sent with both Chase and Santander today and neither showing yet.0

Probably by close of business today.cb2490 said:Does anyone know how long it takes for payments to show with Yorkshire Building Society? Sent with both Chase and Santander today and neither showing yet.
If not, the payments are being held for security checks at Chase and Santander1 -
Unfortunately if you have a Rainy Day Saver it looks like you don't get that £5 fee refund?NedS said:wiseonesomeofthetime said:
Does that mean that your first Blue Rewards account fee will be taken on second working day of November, if I have read T&C correctly?NedS said:Just opened the Barclays Rainy Day Saver at 5%. Quite happy to take the £250/year interest on our emergency fund cash. It was easy to reactivate Blue Rewards as I already met the requirements (had previously disabled it when they stopped the reward payments) and had an account opened within 5 minutes. Much better than a regular saver as I can stuff the full £5k in on day one, and no limit or loss of interest on withdraws. Perfect for me and a better home than the Club Lloyds account where it was earning a pittance.
Do you have two DD paying out this month so you will get your fiver back next month to nullify that fee?Yes, That's my understanding. Because Blue Rewards was activated today, the first £5 fee will be taken at the start of next month (November). Meeting the conditions of 2 direct debits and £800 being paid into the account during the month qualifies for the £5 fee to be refunded, so no net charge.Obviously this may be less attractive to those who do not have a Barclays bank account, or do not have the requisite 2 direct debits available, but I already had these in place from participation in previous Blue Rewards offers.
I can't post the link as I'm newly registered but the website says:
"You won’t receive a monthly cash reward to your Blue Rewards Wallet for having a Rainy Day Saver account"0
