Oh dear thats a shame. Ill move mine in 10days once my 31 day matures.S_uk said:I was hoping that Zopa might increase their rates today, but I just noticed their reply to someone's tweet asking about this:
"Our smart saver accounts were recently increased on the 13th of September. There is currently no scope to increase the amount again this month. We will inform everyone publicly when this is due to change again."Ex Sg27 (long forgotten log in details)Massive thank you to those on the long since defunct Matched Betting board.0 -
If zopa's easy access isn't at least 2.1% in two weeks when my pots revert to access, I'm off. Waiting for an increase is pointless when it's easy to move money around.0

Will wait for a week then bye bye zopa if no increase0

Are the separate pots system that Zopa do a common thing across savings providers? I like being able to split my money into different pots for different purposes like one for holidays one for next car etc.0

Most providers don't, but some do. Virgin, TSB and Chase do - but you won't necessarily get the best rates with them. You can always use a simple spreadsheet to create virtual pots for yourself. This leaves you free to choose the best ratesStevo_safc said:Are the separate pots system that Zopa do a common thing across savings providers? This is my method.
You get one clump of interest then too, instead of odd pennies in each pot. May work for some, but not me. It's all psychological though tbh, in my case.1 -
I wonder if Atom Bank will take the same stance, bearing in mind they raised the rate on their Instant Saver on the morning of the BoE announcement, possibly hoping people will think it reflected what was to come, not what had passed!S_uk said:I was hoping that Zopa might increase their rates today, but I just noticed their reply to someone's tweet asking about this:

October is nearly here "There is currently no scope to increase the amount again this month'0

Yes I did think that technically they could put up their rates a week today (1st Oct), although if that was the case I'm not sure if they would've bothered putting out that particular statement.AndyTh_2 said:October is nearly here "There is currently no scope to increase the amount again this month'0 -
I'll give Zopa benefit of the doubt for a couple of weeks whilst monitoring other options.
