Tesco should be 1.58% and not 1.56%

Ok, as Atom are failing to keep up , I'm ;looking at the next best thing to move to.
I've already got maxxed up in Zopa and Sherbrook and Virgin Money is only 25k max so not suitable for my remaining 60K
not keen on Sharia accounts but  looking at GateHouse at 1.80% -
Tried  a search here but few recent review threads so has anyone used them/had nay experience with GateHouse here?

MSE reports that the Newcastle BS has said they will increase their savings rates by 0.50% on 25th August. See the link below, 2/3 down the page.

This suggests that their Triple Access account would increase to 2.00%

    https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/2022/08/base-rate-bank-of-england-mortgages-savings/

I spoke to someone at Newcastle re the Triple Access, and they said the only increase in the rate for this account is that the rate if you go to 4 withdrawals (on the issue 2) will go up from 0.75% to 1.00%.  The rate for up to 3 withdrawals will remain at 1.50%.  Disappointing.

This was in the Savers Friend email yesterday ….

“120 day notice account from Paragon Bank takes a prominent position in our charts this week. This account pays 2.15% gross on anniversary and requires a minimum deposit of £500 to open.”

Apologies that this should really be in the Notice account thread but answering the question raised here

i've got their Easy Access account... I paid in another £1k yesterday around 11am and it was in there an hour or two later (can't remember if i got notification, so don't have an exact timing). if you deposit before 1pm, then it should appear same day... after 1pm, it's next day... I can't give you my experience of withdrawing from Gatehouse as I haven't done that yet.
if you want to go down the Sharia route, then in addition to Gatehouse @ 1.80%, there is also Al Rayan... deposits are faster with them, but again, have not made a withdrawal from them yet.
not to go off-topic, but if you can put your 60k away without needing it for 3 months, Allica have a 95-day notice account paying 2.20% (£10k)... depositing with them is very fast in my experience (minutes), but you get no notification of a deposit (SMS, email, app etc - they plan to do this in the future), so you would need to check the balance in the site/app... to give them notice, you call or send them a secure message.

Thats concerning, my bank say it hasnt been stopped and the transfer was made. Maybe ill give zopa a call
It may have been stopped for security reasons. Some banks won't tell you that it has been stopped until they've made you wait 24 hours and raised a complaint.

It's why they don't want the faster payments reduced from 48 hours to 24 hours.
