I got impatient waiting to see other interest rates rise and opened a Shawbrook accountEarly verdict: Easy to open new account but website navigation not the best. Transferred £1k from Nationwide and now waiting for it to show up in the new account. Then will transfer rest from Chase, via Nationwide.1

Yeah it's been half an hour now. Also, website still proving not to be the best - logs me out if I try to view more than one of the messages on my account. Hopefully once I've put all my savings into it, I won't have a need to use the website often!

So Shawbrook didn`t increase by .5%, doesn`t bode well for people waiting on others to move their rates!

Yeah it's been half an hour now. Also, website still proving not to be the best - logs me out if I try to view more than one of the messages on my account. Hopefully once I've put all my savings into it, I won't have a need to use the website often!1

Still sitting with Virgin at 1.71 rather than Shawbrook at 1.75 (would need to open). Willl wait a while for things to settle, or new ones pop up1
