Someone said earlier (when I was thinking of opening a Shawbrook account) that the funds show up the next day if made before 2:30pm. That is what put me off opening an account and why I'm holding out for some of the others to increase their rates soon.Yeah it's been half an hour now. Also, website still proving not to be the best - logs me out if I try to view more than one of the messages on my account. Hopefully once I've put all my savings into it, I won't have a need to use the website often! From memory its SAME day if before 2:30.....NEXT day if after ...... but i's a long time since I made a deposit!I had a large chunk with them which matured and I moved to their instant access about two weeks ago, so was VERY pleased to get the text and see them go ToTP today !!0 -
Ah, I must have missed that - thanks. Can cope with waiting 24 hours.BigBlueSky said:

Zopa are normally good. I'd like to see instant access at 1.75% minimum (+0.25), and the boosted pots increased by a similar amount. I'd like see the full 0.5 added, but that won't happen.0

I don't have a Shawbrook Easy Access account, but online payments I've made into their fixed rate and ISA accounts normally show up within a few hours when sent during the day and that included a large payment I made after 5pm on a Friday on one occasion.
As deposits don't show up instantly like they do with some other banks, then I would imagine times may vary though and I would also guess that their systems will be busy at the moment, with the influx of new customers.1 -
It's before 15.30 for deposit to show same day .RobfromCornwall said:

Before 14.30 for w/d to process next working day, which may be pertinent.
How quickly will the funds show in my account and when will I start to earn interest? (shawbrook.co.uk)

Thanks for posting that update. I've an account with them but, annoyingly, they never send me any information about rate changes. Not only do they insist that to get better rate you must close existing account and open new one, but they don't ever send me any notification of new accounts being available. Do they send you any such notification or do you just have to log on daily to check account status manually?10_66 said:

I never used to get email notifications, but a while ago I had an email asking me to renew how I wanted to be contacted, and despite following their prompt, I would get another email a few days later, and so on, for several days. Anyway, one of them must've been successful, as I did actually receive an email notification yesterday.0 -
Yes, I've just received an email from Paragon saying my Easy Access has increased to 1.6% and I need take no action.S_uk said:Paragon appear to have increased their rate on some of their savings accounts at least, as I've just logged in and my triple access cash ISA rate has increased from 1.35% to 1.54%. Not received any email yet.
