A lot can happen to other banks rates in 20 days. Please let us know when there is an actual 2% account.

I am confident that 2% will be offered within the next 20 days.

However, the July inflation announcement in 12 days will have cpi at 10% plus.

I might just have to open an account with Shawbrook. 

How are they for speed of deposits/withdrawals and do they tend to increase existing account rates normally or just bring out a new issue?

The minimum account withdrawal amount is £500. (Where a withdrawal request is received prior to 2:30pm on a working day, your funds should be received into your nominated account on the next working day.)

The question now, is how many of those customers Chase paid so much to acquire will they be content to lose before increasing their rate? I was just getting comfy there.

I'll give them a little time to 'adjust', otherwise the savings money is going elsewhere.
