What do you do with your Postoffice Saving Accounts??Now it is apparently that PO saving account do not take payment by Direct Debit (DDs) any-longer.So unless I have missed something it seems there is no more good reason to keep it. It is painful to take your money out. But I might keep 1-2 of them and close the rest. What you guys do with the PO saving accounts ?Just in case want to close what is the most simple and least time consuming ways to close it ?Thx0

Same here, I had a 12 month savings account that matured a few months ago, now closed and all the money have been moved elsewhere. They have the cheek to say "We have recently made positive changes to a number of our interest rates for existing customers." on their website. Yet their instant access saver and ISA start at 0.20%.typistretired said:It has the option to close the account online when select withdrawing money. I closed all mine as the rate was terrible0 -
I have started withdrawing down to £1 then when I have the bulk of my funds withdrawing and closing. Having once had a delay with a substantial amount and lost the ability to log in and find out what was going on due to account being closed before the money was visibly in my current account.typistretired said:It has the option to close the account online when select withdrawing money.
