Despite there being no limit written into the original current account terms they did eventually say "enough is enough."  Whilst my evidence is anecdotal rather than scientific, I would say remove a 0 from the numbers quoted as a more accurate figure to when they would do that.

Virgin just did soft searches for those multiples.

Really?  I was hard searched on each and every one, my credit file looked like someone clicking "paste" whilst having a seizure.

As for hard/soft searching and multiples........likewise I'll just leave it there.

They did hard search for a while in the beginning but switched to soft many months ago - as far back as at least May 2021

Mine show as Clydesdale searches - perhaps it’s different for Yorkshire Bank?

Anyway, it‘s all over now 😢

Does anyone know how long it takes for the new Cynergy account to show in your account list after getting the "Congratulations your account is open email" ?

It says in the email that it should show, but it isn't showing yet.

Anyone any ideas ?
