If you mean one savings account with £25k - - why not up to FSCS limit?veryintrigued said:
I don't trust Virgin with anymore than one full account.
I have the Cynergy, too, but only £100 and a bit in it to keep my status as a customer. I'd happily keep £84k and a a bit (to allow for interest) in VM, but would never dream of giving them more than the FSCS limit. Mind you, I would never dream to go over the FSCS limit with any group of banks or BS.0 -
I have plenty of other Virgin accountsDaliah said:

Which makes your comment (I don't trust Virgin with anymore than one full account) even more puzzling.0 -
Without wanting to go off track you're probably well aware of the following and are just looking for another of your fights on here:Daliah said:

I was talking specifically about the linked account
The savings element of the multiple Virgin accounts are on a different, more stable, system. Although this has had multiple maturity issues in the past and allows new RS openings when strictly it shouldn't.
I've read and also personally highlighted the frailities of opening and accessing the C/A (and consequently the linked accounts) multiple times on here.
I wouldn't want to increase that risk. Hence why I stopped opening any more months ago of the CAs (of which I opened stacks - and so have the 1% X £25k X n headroom if it wasn't for my distrust in them).
I've also tried to subtlety hint that 85k exposure to Virgin is well on my radar. I.e. having these linked accounts and filling these accounts to their full potential are two very different things.
Let's move on now, and get back to the Top easy access thread Daliah and so you can search for your next forumite to argue with.0 -

Decided to open a Virgin M Plus account…..wish I hadn’t. Never had an issue with any other institution but Virgin checks decided I had to receive a letter with a code. Letter arrived and it didn’t work online and had to call them and sit in a queue etc. Mine sorted out and same issue with joint account holder. Appreciate security but their systems don’t seem very bright.2

Can you clarify this point please?veryintrigued said:
Best if not, all things considered. (There's already information/argument about this on the RS thread)
