Me neither - but I'm open to suggestions as to DDs guaranteed to pay out each month. Council Tax is only ten times a year. BT with Line Saver Rental and 18185 doesn't bill every month. etc. etc.
See my earlier post
Also, I would say that it would be better to set up new Club Lloyds and TSB Plus accounts before setting up DDs on Lloyds Vantage accounts.
The Newcastle accounts look like they might be worth grabbing whilst they are available, as they don't work quite like regular savers usually do, in that the regular save bonus is calculated and paid monthly. You only lose out on the regular save bonus for one month if you make a withdrawal during the month.0 -

This has absolutely nothing to do with the TSB Plus account.
They are two separate banks, even if they are still presently owned by the same group.
Yes, yes but I didn't know that Lloyds had a product called a Plus account.0 -
It seems that Santander have changed the rules, and now only allow 1 account in a single account holder's name instead of the previous 2. From their website "One single or one joint 123 Current Account (or one of each) per person only."
Let's hope that they don't enforce that retrospectively.0 -
Just keep your head down and stay under the radar.0

I understand you can have one Club Lloyd account paying 4%? on how much and do you have to have 2 DDs attached?
Also you can have 2 TSB Plus accounts for up to £2K in each.
I looked at the Newcastle a/c - am I right in saying you can pay in £1,250 a month and get 3.02%? How much can you put in total in this account?
That still leaves a fair chunk of Lloyds Vantage cash to stash.
I have two Santander 123 a/c's in my name, should my husband and I open another (he's a higher rate taxpayer, I'm not)?
My Nationwide 5% a/c is also coming to an end. What a palavar.
Any advice appreciated.0 -
At present, BOS still offer the 3% Vantage accounts. Not sure for how long they will do so.
The Newcastle BHS has no max total limit.
Nationwide also do a kind of regular saver which pays 2.5% as long as your balance increases by at least £500 a month. You are allowed max £1K a month into this one
Club Lloyds - there is tons of info about this on their website and on the MSE forum! Also comes with a regular saver, £400/mth.
Any account for a 40% tax payer will obviously pay pitiful net interest, e.g. 1.8% for a 123 (and even less after the £24 annual charge)0 -
For the BOS vantage, are they limiting the number of accounts you can open?
Also, with the Newcastle one can you open the ISA and the savings one?0
