    They can forget that

I predict Newcastle Building Society having a whole heap of money hitting their coffers
I've added a bit more to my post.

Tell me about the Newcastle please?

I thought that the new account was called Plus? Surely they can't be withdrawing the interest paid on it already?

The new TSB account is called the Plus.

The new Lloyds account is called Club Lloyds. The letter you got is from Lloyds, not from TSB.

Unfortunately, the account is a monthly saver so it takes a good while to shift a few Lloyds Vantage accounts.

However, the good news is that you do not have to wait until Lloyds drop their rate to start with the shifting. The first £1,250 can be on their way now.

Yes, you're right of course. The letter is from Lloyds but the text on Page 4 of the booklet that they enclosed with the letter is as I stated in red above?

I know it is a monthly saver

I take it that I'm not forced to have a Newcastle mortgage if I open this account and that in not taking the mortgage I can still attain the 3.02% AER?

Does anyone know how long it takes Newcastle BS to send your ISA account info (account # & sort code)?
Opened 1 online last week, still need to credit it with opening balance but didn't feel to comfortable transferring £1250 into a generic account with my name as a reference...!
