More information on the new Club Lloyds accounts, launching soon. The advisor I spoke to (as I opened my 2nd and 3rd Vantage accounts today), said her training will be in the next few weeks, but she'd heard of a minimum monthly funding requirement of £1500 with a £5/month fee if the requirement is not met.

Also, she reckons it will be launched at start of April, as that coincides with the start of Lloyds' new quarter.

There are other privileges for being part of the club, but she didn't mention any specifics.

She also said existing Vantage accounts would remain as they are, so that tallies with what other posters have reported.

    Hi

Is this correct I can open via the internet, just checked online.

3 Lloyds Vantage, 3 BoS Vantage, 3 TSB Enhance.

Then deposit £1000 in the accounts via the internet once a month hopefully via the faster payments system.

Open 2 Santander 123 accounts paying £2 fee each account per month, deposit £500 per month and have 2 DD setup.

Fully funded this should pay 3% on £85000

Sort of - rumour has it that the Lloyds and BOS Vantage, and may be also the TSB Enhance, will shortly be withdrawn for new applications. It's already no longer possible to add Vantage yourself though as of Friday they still processed requests on the phone. So you need to get your skates on

Well opened 3 TSB online, no problems.

BOS Vantage, got as far as enter local branch details and it wouldn't let me enter a branch so closed application. Tried again later and getting 'error 72005 you have already tried and we unable to process another at this moment.'

Most likely locked out from them suspecting fraud or something.

Will call BOS and Lloyds tomorrow and see what they say.

Yes, ad you can set up Standing Orders on each account to move the £1000 round between them all (make sure the Santander credits both come from outside - not Santander 1 to Santander 2).

I've also set up SOs to move the interest each month to a monthly saver, so the accounts don't exeed the £5K limit.

When opening accounts over the phone, do they mind 3 in one go. Reading opening to many accounts can affect your credit score.

With the BOS you can only open one per day, I think that applies to the TSB and Lloyds for online and phone applications.

With regard to the message in your earlier post, BOS Vantage, got as far as enter local branch details and it wouldn't let me enter a branch so closed application. Tried again later and getting 'error 72005 you have already tried and we unable to process another at this moment.'
    For the branch I typed in/used Newcastle, Douglas Square, TD9 0QD http://www.bankofscotland.co.uk/branchfinder/results.asp

As I did all mine in branch except for the BOS this problem didn't arise as you can open all three at the same time in branch at Lloyds and the TSB.

You can open more than one account a day online with TSB and BOS, I did it on Thursday for both of them to add accounts numbers two and three to ones I already had. If you already have an account, all you have to do is make an application as though you are doing it as a new customer (as opposed to applying while logged in), it'll join the new accounts to your existing login within a couple of minutes

Nice little workaround, I know I certainly couldn't open three in a day for the BOS over the phone or internet at the time. As I stated the Lloyds/TSB were all done in branch so thanks for the info Jogle.

Done 3 TSB last night, account numbers given.

Tried to open a BOS and when it came to the 'select local branch' I never knew you had to search in Glasgow. So closed the application without saving and when I tried again an hour later it gave an error I had already tried and they was unable to proceed at this time. Tried online again this morning with the same error Rang them today and they put me through to online department which is closed Sundays. Maybe there is a block on me that needs to be removed

So will call again tomorrow hopefully to set up 1 account and then open more online.

Opened 1 Lloyds last night and approval is pending. If accepted will open more then ring up to have Vantage added.
