I would be very surprised if it was a scam. A whois search shows that the new website is registered to Lloyds Bank PLC, 25 Gresham Street, London. Since the info on this forum is that the new account to replace the 3% Vantage for new customers is likely to be launched in a few weeks time, I wouldn't expect any links to be active from the main Lloyds site yet. What would be the motive for a scam anyway?
Whilst it appears it's all fine, and I'm not questioning your post at all, I'm just asking people to exercise caution. My reasoning:
1. I'd expect a bank offering a new service with a live website to have the links live if the other site is live - (I would not move a staging server to a live website until the links were all active. It looks unprofessional and for those with a keen eye for IT security, flags up issues that a bank's links are not active on a promoters.)
2. The purpose of a scam would be to harvest personal and account details.
3. Also, it appears their SSL (the secure connection via https for non technical people) certificate isn't the stringent Extended Validation (EV) certificate which I'd expect for anything related to such a service. The EV certs allow the verified display of extended details within the address bar of modern browsers. The Club Lloyds basic certificate doesn't even show ownership information.
4. Domain name registration addresses can easily be faked.
5. I've been a Lloyds customer since a child, and haven't received any information about this...
6. I dislike third parties being involved in offering extended services to bank accounts - personal opinion!

I think it's a scam. I wouldn't input any personal details into the login page until you have verified with Lloyds whether or not it's legitimate.
Note that when you go to the login page that there's no padlock, and, the page displayed is "clublloyds.com".
Very suspicious in my opinion.0 -

They aren't going to tell you until after they have launched the new account. The info on this thread is that they are training the staff at the moment and it may launch early April.
It's not too surprising that they would outsource admistration of the "Lifestyle Benefits" and also that they would be building the new web pages in the last weeks before launch. It would of course have been better practice to keep all the new pages offline until launch, but sometimes that doesn't happen.0 -
Just rang Lloyds Internet section about the link posted, they said it has nothing to do with the Lloyds personal banking website, and that it is a LifeStyle benefit offered by a third party that will be most likely packaged as an extra when the Club Lloyds Account is eventually launched.
The log in page is asking for a username and password, whereas Lloyds personal banking asks for a User ID and Password and then memorable information. I would imagine that when/if you open a Club Lloyds account you may then get the opportunity to register for this service. So until it launches I would just ignore this link for the time being.

I searched on Google for "club lloyds current account" to see if any other news had leaked out.
I think the big question is still whether this account is meant to be an improvement to Vantage to get an edge on the Santander 123 or is it Lloyds' way to get out of paying 3% on £45k (3 each Lloyds, BOS, TSB) and confuse this with smoke and mirrors.
I haven't seen anything yet that lets us know what maximum rate they are going to offer and on what amount.0 -

No news on the interest rates or the maximum amount you can have in the account which they will pay interest on, he said they will not know that until the last minute before launch.0 -

We'll have to keep our fingers crossed for a couple of weeks then. 3% or more would be good. Anything less and it doesn't bode well for the Vantage rate staying at 3% for very long.0 -
Just gone to the Lloyds website and cannot find even the Vantage account. Is it still on offer? If so can someone please remind me the rate of interest and conditions for the account.Thank you for reading this message.0

There is no "Vantage account" strictly speaking, and never has been. It is a classic account with Vantage added on.
You can still find all the information about the Vantage option under the information for the classic account, under the "Interest Rates" tab. It's 1% for up to £1000, 1.5% for up to £3000 and 3% for up to £5000.0
