I guess Marcus will be doing the same but haven't had an email from them yet
N.B. The 0.49% bonus is still available to refresh for anyone who wants to extend its duration.1 -
I believe Marcus are reducing their rate by 0.2% can anyone confirm ?0

By the way, many of us were on the Santander Easy Access Saver whose rate dropped last month and moved on
but what also annoyed me was their app update a few weeks ago , meant that fingerprint log in was no longer supported
Ok, I'm on Android 9 - (Android support ended Jan 2022) but the coincidence didn't help.
For now, First Direct, Atom and Zopa still support fingerprint on my phone
which otherwise I have no need to replace .
Not a reason to upgrade in itself, but I do like the faster log in compared to using a pin.0 -

You say you are using version 9 of Android, the current version is 14 (general release wise). So you are 5 releases behind.
I imagine at some point your other apps may not be fully supported either so at some point you may want to upgrade your phone.0 -

My logic is that if it still does everything I need it to do then I'll keep using it either until it breaks or getting a new phone will enable me to recover the cost of the new phone in the long run, e.g. I can't currently get the HSBC app on my phone but if they launched a switching offer/reward account that I was eligible for which I could only get if I used the app I'd then consider getting a new phone.2 -

Does anyone know how Barclays process transactions in terms of the date when interest starts to be earned for the Rainy Day Saver? Transferred some money into it Friday night about 930pm, arrived instantly but showing transaction date of Mon 3 JUN 930pm. Assuming therefore they have a cut off in evening, with payments received after that not being credited for interest purposes until the following working day?0
