I had an old chip with a few £ left in it. Checked in again like the idea of the 5.01% booster. Anyway, got a friend to apply...download etc but towards the end of process the friend didn't like the bit 'allow chip access to your data for 90 days'. So I didnt get my 5% account. Chip did seem to be asking for access to a lot of data!!

Interesting comment this morning from the Markets Guest on Today's Business News on Radio 4. The markets have "fully priced in" a base rate cut from the ECB on 20th June, but a base rate cut from the BoE on the same day was "unlikely" given that any movement could be viewed as potentially political during the GE campaign. Hopefully that means that those who managed to grab the 5.2%+ IA accounts that haven't yet cut their rates might see them held for another month or so. Fingers crossed.

At least the Chip 0.17% bonus rate is super easy to achieve/activate as a referral.

Noticed today ZOPA included within my ISA a ‘Bonus Interest’ with my monthly Interest. Anyone care to widen an explanation of this Bonus Interest?
Thanks.0 -

I use that account sometimes to deposit funds using my Halifax Reward Current Account as part of the £500 debit card qualifying criteria towards the £5 monthly reward.4
