I had an old chip with a few £ left in it.  Checked in again like the idea of the 5.01% booster.  Anyway, got a friend to apply...download etc but towards the end of process the friend didn't like the bit 'allow chip access to your data for 90 days'.  So I didnt get my 5% account.  Chip did seem to be asking for access to a lot of data!!
    It's for open banking transfers.

Sorry,, yes £20k on T&C. I have paid £1K INTO THE 4.94 A/C ALREADY (AS THIS IS THE MIN.) Can I withdraw £999 AND LEAVE £1 in? so that I have 2 a/cs. (In case they close/lower the 5.02 one
you can, but you won't earn any interest on that account until the balance reaches the minimum of £1k again (or I suppose in the case of the limited edition, £20k).

Given it’s only a £1 being left I don’t think the poster will be expecting any interest.

At least the Chip 0.17% bonus rate is super easy to achieve/activate as a referral.

Noticed today ZOPA included within my ISA a ‘Bonus Interest’ with my monthly Interest. Anyone care to widen an explanation of this Bonus Interest?
    Thanks.

There's a small discussion and possible answer towards the bottom of this thread...

  • NS&I Direct Saver increase from 3.65% to 4% on 23rd May

I know its no where near the top, but haven't seen anyone mention it.
Thanks for the information on the NS&I Direct Saver.

I use that account sometimes to deposit funds using my Halifax Reward Current Account as part of the £500 debit card qualifying criteria towards the £5 monthly reward.

Maybe a bit Off Topic - but not much, many more:

As there was a change to the Halifax Rewards when 'Extra' was launched, there'll be a lot of forumites with a renewal date of May 31.

Just a reminder that you only have a few days left to renew the rewards, if you haven't already, it's by May 31.

Can you just open a new one? Well, yes... but if you're lucky enough to have a legacy of more than today's maximum number of accounts... if you miss the renewal deadline, AFAIK there's no way to get it back…
