Has anyone seen anything further about the Zopa Prize Draw? I didn't get an email or a notification in the app. Is it open to all or by invitation only?

The T&Cs are here. Seems it's open to all, I've assumed so and chucked a tenner at it for the last two weeksfriolento said:Has anyone seen anything further about the Zopa Prize Draw? I didn't get an email or a notification in the app. Is it open to all or by invitation only?

Looks like the new Columbian majority shareholder who pumped many millions into the bank wants to see some returns now and liquidity is needed to keep the lending business going.pokemaster said:Metro Bank Instant Access Savings Account5.22% (yearly compounded) 5.10% (Monthly)

T&C's to be read carefully:
https://www.metrobankonline.co.uk/globalassets/documents/customer_documents/personal/instant-access_savings-account_important-information-summary.pdf- Instant access only up to £1000 cash withdrawals, otherwise 1 day notice
- Only specifies £500 to reach headline rate, doesn't say minimum balance has to remain £500. You can pay in £500 and take out £499 if you just want the account
- If you pay £500 in, the headline rate will apply from the following day, so first day the insulting rate of 1.65% AER only
1 - Instant access only up to £1000 cash withdrawals, otherwise 1 day notice

Cheeky. Metro Bank launches this offering today on a Friday, but the earliest the Limited Edition rate can apply is from Monday, as closing balances aren’t assessed on Fridays or Saturdays (for purposes of eligibility).
The £1000 limit is specific to cash withdrawals, not Faster Payments.1 -
Having seen Shawbrook released a new EA savings account issue, I was thinking I should message them to convert my issue 36 to the new one until I realised that the new issue (37) has a lower rate. Just a warning to others to double check first!"If you aren’t willing to own a stock for ten years, don’t even think about owning it for ten minutes” Warren Buffett

As you say, have to go through full signup details. Did find that my online/app logons are still valid (and show new account) even after a year of no open Metro accounts.Metro Bank Instant Access Savings AccountEDIT: Can't find it on the app/logging into account online and when trying to get it through the website seems like you have to sign up to them all over again, even though I have a current account?0
