Yes, that's how it normally works. Withdrawn accounts remain at the original rate.BlackthornU said:Middle_of_the_Road said:

Not sure why the triple access savers don't have an issue number, like their limited access and easy access accounts.

With the MPC meeting on Thursday I'd say this isn't the time to open anything new.2

Yes, I think I'd prefer there was an issue number too. I've just consolidated some savings in the Coventry from some other poorer performing accounts so was fearing the worst when I saw the lower rate today (for new applications, as it turns out).Middle_of_the_Road said:Yes, that's how it normally works. I do realise it's a variable rate but would be keen on a few months of stability at least...1 -
Why? That kind of assumes a rise in rates which doesn't seem very likely.Wheres_My_Cashback said:With the MPC meeting on Thursday I'd say this isn't the time to open anything new.16 Panel (250W JASolar) 4kWp, facing 170 degrees, 40 degree slope, Solis Inverter. Quite possible no more rises for 6 months0

Assumes nothing whatsoever, picture will be much clearer in 6 days as to whether changes in account rates are likely or not.Rheumatoid said:

Given the status of the world nothing is certain. ECB kept rates so not expecting any rise at all. If wars escalate and fuel prices and energy are shooting back up we might see inflation jump again, that could lead to a further rise but I think that's it and it will be kept where it is.0
