I’m thinking of opening the HTB Easy Access account. It says interest is paid annually but despite reading all the documents it isn’t clear if that is on the anniversary of opening or some other national day they use. I’m used to key features documents being clear on this. Can anyone clarify? Just interested in which tax year the interest payment would fall.0

Not yet. Could be weekend-itis. Am also an existing customer and plan to open tomorrow morning.1spiral said:Anyone had problems signing up to Skipton's Single Access Saver (online not app)? I'm an existing customer and when trying to open the account (with interest paid away) it tells me "Insufficient bank details supplied [210933]" despite providing everything they ask.Edit: It doesn't appear to be pulling in my name, only the account no. and sort code on the summary page.
I decided to try the app. When opening in the app it says that interest will be credited to this account (no choice given whereas online you get 3 choices) but you can change it after online so I proceeded with opening. Logged in online to change the destination and got the same error so I think it is a problem with their site and no-one is around today to fix it.
What a palava. I'm not an app lover, I only use them when there is no alternative so after the above I deleted the app. When I went to login yesterday, I needed a code generated from the app so called Skipton to explain that I wanted the pre app method of login. To do this they needed to deregister my app and I now have to wait for a code to come through the post in order to use my account. I cannot withdraw or make any changes so I still am unable to see if the change of interest destination is working or not.

So... - same as the N.W. Loyalty Saver, except not area restricted, and a lower minimum operating balance... That'll please their 'Loyal' customers..!3 -
Lol, it will, only because it effectively means that they have the 5.30% account (x2) so have 2 withdrawals.soulsaver said:Bridlington1 said:

No, it is still available. I've applied a couple of hour ago. They didn't open the account though, the final page said that they can't verify my details electronically and will be in touch by e-mail within next two days. I'm guessing they have a problem with their IT because I've never seen any bank or BS having trouble verifying my ID.soulsaver said:***NLA?*** Easy Access Saver (1 Withdrawal) | Chorley Building Society 5.30% £500 min (17/10)
