As long as it doesn't get withdrawn, Ford being near the top is always a good sign that the race is still on.

Ford always give existing customers their best rate. However they often suspend new applications when they have good rates. Obviously this is when they have high volumes of new applications.

There is a very high chance this will happen in the next few days so you would need to get in quickly. Fortunately there is none of this different issue nonsense!

I can also report that the previously slow withdrawals have improved. I requested a withdrawal last week at about 8:00 am and it was in my nominated account before 12:00 midday.

Is it just me, or did there used to be an option 'Close Account ' on Sainsbury's Instant Access account?

I can't say I've ever seen a close account button in Sainsbury's bank before. I usually just ring them to close accounts but you can also do it by sending them a secure message and telling them which account you want the interest paid into.

Yes there was as I have recently just closed my account fully online and it asked me for my bank details to send the funds too.
If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.

    Secured/Unsecured loans x 1
    Credit Cards x 8 (total limit £55,050)
Creation FS Retail Account x 1
    Creation Credit Sale 0% x 1 = £112.50pm x 20 mths
    0% Overdraft x 1 (£0 / £250)
    Mortgage Outstanding - £137,707.00 (Payment 13/360)
    Total Debt = £7,400 (0%APR) @ £100pm - Stoozing

Yes. Sometimes I see a Close Account option, but other times it's not there and I have no idea why. If it's not there I just send them a secure message instead.
