Great news! On 24 May 2023 we increased the rate on your E-Saver to 3.45% Gross p.a / AER

My £10 (minimum balance allowed to keep account open) will rise dramatically now then. Not! 🤦‍♂️😂

    Chip recommended @ 3.82%?

     I'm currently with Zopa smart saver 3.46% (83k) and Santander E-saver 3.20% (52k)

Any suggestions for easy access? Thanks
Cynergy Bank NOW 3.71%. They're a good bank.
    Shawbrook also has decent rates.

I've split mine between Chip and Tandem as both are near instand deposits and withdrawals.

I wonder when we'll breach the 4.00% barrier for EA (bar Hanley BS, reg savers etc).

I think we could see it close to the next BoE MPC meeting on 22nd June.

I already have a 4% easy access account - KR Demelza Issue 7. It’s one I can keep for the rest of my life as I opened it before I turned 18 - was a very good decision. Those who held Issue 6 and below currently get 4.25%!

Ford Money increasing to 3.75% on 1st June
The vast sum of money ;) I withdrew from mine this morning has clearly had an impact!  :open_mouth:

I just emptied my E-saver (though it had less than £70 in) and will move it into one of my other higher paying accounts - you need to remember that it's only a 12-month account before it gets converted to an Everyday Saver at 0.7% in a few months time.
It's too much hassle for me to use Chip (as my two main current account aren't options in the app), but there are easier alternatives for me that I use via FP, e.g Tandem & Shawbrook (3.75%), and Cynergy @ 3.71% - even if I had £85k in any of these accounts, it's less than £50 difference over a year than Chip - and I can live with that.
in your circumstances, there are better options than Zopa and Santander - if you need quickish access to the money, then Tandem & Cynergy would be good options... if you can wait til potentially next working day, Shawbrook.

Anyone know if HSBC’s online saver rate is going up anytime soon?
