Deposits can be made via debit card as well FP, SO, cheques etc. Withdrawals are not as bad as I thought; you can set up a nominated account and ask for payments to be sent across over the phone.
Overall very good service especially with such a big gap to the next best rate.
They told me to phone the local branch and that the passbook was not required to withdraw. They did complete a form to link a nominated account, which I also had to sign.
I rang yesterday and was also told withdrawals only in writing with passbook. Also, that any bank transfers to nominated account for amounts over £10,000 would be made by CHAPS and so would incur a £25 fee. Cheques, of course, would be free of charge.

FP wise, it seems there is also a minimum of £500, and if less than that they impose a £10 fee! https://thehanley.co.uk/savings-accounts/savings-account-service-charges/If you want me to definitely see your reply, please tag me @forumuser7 Thank you.

Did anyone else get an email from Zopa today about its auto saving feature? I'm assuming this won't be something automatically switched on as default?0

I've decided Atom aren't in need of my funds at the moment so have just emptied my E/A pot into Marcus instead. when there was 0.1% difference in rates I wasn't overly fretty about it - 0.3% difference is a step too far though! I'm leaving Atom with £1 as I'll need the account when my fixes end rather than having to bounce money all over the place.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

My Marcus account still has just a £1 in it because, despite the latest increase, my money is in accounts of the same or higher rate already 🤷♂️0
