Thank you Bigwheels1111 and jaypers, I should've added, are w/d and payments operated over non-bank working days, please?
Don’t know about Tandem as not used them but I have paid money into Zopa over a weekend and it was the same as a weekday. Should always bear in mind though that Banking institutions will always make any changes over a weekend so there is always the chance of delays. Most decent ones give notice though and I have seen Zopa put banner messages in their app of any upcoming disruption.

Weekends seem to take a little longer, not always but sometimes longer than the usual 20 mins.

Both, Tandem and Zopa, process in and out payments at weekends.

I had £1 in for 4 months and reactivated OK. Minimum balance is £1 and as you say, interest rate is 0.05%.

Issue 7 is the current issue so hopefully they're increasing that automatically.

Existing Issue 1 showing at 3.55% online.

This is a time when I would have preferred it being a new issue as I have no withdrawals remaining until 31 August! Currently only a modest balance left in there.

Yes they haven't launched anything, this issue has been going since 2020, they have simply raised the rate.

Are people getting alerts of rate rises from Aldermore? Do they send emails or texts? Do I need to allow this to be informed rate rises and put up with marketing?

    Keeping you informed

We'll keep you informed about Aldermore products and services similar to those you already have. You can opt out of receiving these updates at any time.

They emailed me to confirm the rate had gone up last week. So it's not the marketing setting. They are just slow.
