As described in the post from gt94sss2, I can confirm that my account is annual profit. I assume you receive your profit monthly.

Yes they haven't launched anything, this issue has been going since 2020, they have simply raised the rate.

Are people getting alerts of rate rises from Aldermore? Do they send emails or texts? Do I need to allow this to be informed rate rises and put up with marketing?

It highlights the upward trend of savings rates for easy access and limited access accounts, which I think is a good thing for competition.  

At 3.45%, it is the second highest paying limited access savings account available on Moneyfacts' list, just behind Aldermore's Double Access Account (3.55%), and so I wouldn't call it uncompetitive at that rate.  

Hopefully, it will drive competition amongst the other savings providers.
