How instant is Skipton with their transfers? Got the account with £1 sitting in it. Got most parked in Kroo at the moment, which works fine but the app is still lagging but transfers in and out are almost instant.
The guy at Skipton I spoke to told me up to 4 hours for inbound faster payments to show, and mine appeared in 7 minutes!

  • This morning I moved money from Skipton to Nationwide and it took about 30 minutes.

They have never been "instant" in the 15 or so months I have been with them.

Re Skipton tracker base rate -0.90% discontinued.

Does this mean the best EA rates will have a ceiling at about 3.0% to 3.1% until the next BoE decision?
I opened a Skipton ISA account online on 2nd Feb.

Will I still be entitled to the rate 0.9% points below the BoE rate (i.e. 3.1%)?
If it's Issue 3 then yes, it's guaranteed for 24 months

    Yes.
On mine, the rate did not appear until I made a small deposit, but I opened mine last night and the correct rate is now showing

put another £1 in this morning and it took about 20 minutes; added a five-figure sum in later and it took 70 mins.
  • What's a good alternative to Marcus? I already have Tandem, Chase and Atom.

It is 2.47% for new customers but 3% for existing customers, so I am the lucky one.
