I'm surprised and disappointed Atom did not match Tandem like before. It's especially weird that Tandem are doing so well since they are an ethical (green in this case) bank and ethical banks usually have terrible rates. They seem to have been flooded with applications as they are taking a long time to verify my ID.

    Same here
  • Saffron Building Society e saver issue 20 going to 2.95% from 10 Feb. Not the best rate but I have been very impressed with them over service response and transfers in and out

    Skipton announcement re Variable Rates:

With effect from Monday 13 February 2023, we will be increasing all our variable savings rates, with no variable rate product paying less than 2.25% AER. Further details of these changes will be made available here in due course.

Hopefully they take into account that nothing was done following the 15th December rise.

Personally, I don't find this announcement any better than the one after the December BoE rate rise... I'm not wasting time sticking around this time.

Thank you Santander for being competitive albeit for so short, and goodbye for now!

Tracker Account Issue 3  and Cash ISA Tracker Issue 3
updating to 3.1% on Monday 6th Feb
( and older trackers no longer available also updating on same date eg Cash ISA Tracker Issue 2 to 4.35%)

It's good that they're moving more quickly than they have to, but I suspect it'll get overtaken pretty quickly as others move.
I think it is a good ISA rate
Indeed it is, after the rate increase it will overtake Virgin and become the top easy access cash ISA.
Actually they will be top payers on both ISA and non ISA tables as the Tracker Account at 3.1% will overtake Tandem in ToTP.
  • Goodbye Santander Esaver I've left you with 1p to keep you Happy.😀

That's more generous than me. I've left mine empty for months.

The Skipton easy access ISA also offers monthly or annual interest payments, while Virgin is only annual.

Also, if you need any help with any aspect of your Skipton accounts, they have a sufficiently functioning customer service department (and complaints department)

Thanks. Just opened the ISA. It will be useful for keeping my taxable interest below £1000 in the next tax year
