  • Also a useful alternative to NS&I for my monthly £500 debit card payment
  • I managed to add kroo as a nominated account to zopa although they requsted a statement upload. Trying to add kroo as a nominated account to Atom I just get an error and something went wrong. Assume this is probably because kroo are not party to CoP currently. I also wonder when and where they will plant my two trees. It says I get to choose but I'm not sure how.

Goodbye Santander Esaver I've left you with 1p to keep you Happy.😀
That's more generous than me. I've left mine empty for months.
Any update on adding accounts to YouGov Finance (located on this thread) : https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/79760567/#Comment_79760567

I asked on that thread and also moved discussion to the thread specifically about the YouGov finance bribe:

So take your pick as to where to respond. I'd hazard a guess that the latter is the more appropriate (if you choose to reply that is).

    thanks.

Tracker Account Issue 3  and Cash ISA Tracker Issue 3
updating to 3.1% on Monday 6th Feb
( and older trackers no longer available also updating on same date eg Cash ISA Tracker Issue 2 to 4.35%)

    https://www.skipton.co.uk/base-rate-change

No longer available? Now has an issue 4 at 2.75% (Tracks 1.25% below the Bank of England Base rate).
Ah darn. I was hoping 3.1% was going to be the push for everyone to match.

Re Skipton tracker base rate -0.90% discontinued.

Does this mean the best EA rates will have a ceiling at about 3.0% to 3.1% until the next BoE decision?

Just like Coventry BS, It's another case of not wanting to be the top paying account that is still available.

They probably had an influx of customers for the (now) 3.1% issue

Yes, as was the case with the Santander 2.75% EA last October.

Similarly with Kroo and previously Chase, Virgin Money who all struggled to cope with the massive demand their rates generated.

This way Skipton avoid the overload that others have suffered.
