In my experience, Tandem is similar to Zopa. Nothing is ever instant (there's usually a delay of ~15 minutes), but they only allow deposits from and withdrawals to verified/linked accounts, so it's nothing like Kroo's random spot checks of incoming payments.

I Just transferred 25k into my tandem account and it went In within 5.mins.

( I'll be doing a few 25k over the next couple days)

In the app click on Kroo at bottom, then there is a see all next to 'people'. Click on any of the contacts (people / payees) and there is a delete contact at the bottom of my screen, small font and in red.

This seems to work for payees you have set up yourself. I don't have a delete option for people who are in my phone's contact list and who happen to have a Kroo account. These people just automatically pop up in your payee list

Not that I can see. I also can't remember that I gave permission for it.

I didn't allow contact syncing when I set it up. You get the impression there is some social media type aspect to this bank. Syncing contacts, creating groups... which obviously works when multiple friends are all in with it. "Invite your kroo" (crew?).. I was in it for the rate and the feeder ability. Couldn't give a toss about the social crap myself.

It's good that they're moving more quickly than they have to, but I suspect it'll get overtaken pretty quickly as others move.
