How long do you have to fund it with £1000?
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 3.24% of current retirement "pot" (as at end December 2025)

So you can open with £1, but won't earn the headline rate until your balance exceeds £1000 ?

    Just noticed it says...

"Minimum account opening balance of £1,000."

AFAIK long as you like, but the rate will be 0.05% below £1k. But note, they w/d products quickly, so if you want it, better get a wiggle on.

Still waiting for Zopa to increase their rates...

From Monday I've 20K I need to put into an easy access account until I can put it into a new 1 year fixed Cash ISA on April 6th 2023 (already maxed out this year's allowance)

I've got Chase, Kroo & Tandem easy access accounts but after trying both Kroo & Tandem I think I'm gonna stick it all in Chase initially as they seem more fluid & any transfers to and from are pretty much instant.
There always the 3.05% from Oak North £20k minimum balance

Well if you can cook lunch in a minute, you should be OK... lol
  • Are Oak North decent?

    App & website based?

Easy to sign up or a bit faffy?

    Is the interest paid monthly?

    Cheers!

If you send less than the minimum account opening balance of £1,000, Shawbrook will return your money.
