I have copied a bit from a previous case at the same site. Will that be ok or should I chop it right down in the style of what bargepole uses as an example?

I would cut it down to be more like the concise defences posted by Bargepole, without leaving out important points (technical or law) that you want to rely on in court (as you cannot amend a defence once submitted - at least not without cost) and the rest of it, I would save for the Witness Statement stage.

I dont follow 6b; just because they havent used AUTOMATIC number plate recognition does not mean they cannot use the para 9 route of POFA. Its not a necessary condition for its use.

You might want to expand a little more on the "passing through rather than parking" at the Shell garage and be a little clearer about what you mean re grace periods, i.e. you were there for less than the usual minimum time allowed. You can also remove the !!!8220 as they were left over from a forum glitch last year.
