I emptied both my Tesco accounts yesterday ready for the switch this morning. I thought there would be a bit of closing interest to transfer to new account so wouldn't be zero balance.
I had 2 texts this morning saying my Tesco accounts were closing in unarranged overdrafts and would be charged fees etc.
I looked online in a panic and they've both been closed and a couple of pounds interest transferred to Santander.
So not overdrawn at all.
Bye bye Tesco0 -

What date were you given for the completion?0 -

That's it. All over bar the chancers hoping that a switch commenced today (or tomorrow etc) can dip under the bar and successfully claim on the 18th.. when it doesn't complete until the following day.
Let us know if you try it...:)
Ok, chancer here :rotfl:applied today with switch date of 19th, gonna follow the lead of BLF and claim on 17th and then 18th if still open and hope that santander system is as bad as i think it is.0 -
My switch is tomorrow so I'm hoping for the URN soon to submit my claim... not that I'm counting ;-)0

You have the URN already if the switch has started. It's the long code beginning FSW that you will have in the email and letter confirming the switch. This and the referrer's code are needed to make the claim - but only after the switch is completed. But don't wait around after the switch hoping for some new URN, you have it now.0 -

I claimed before the switch was completed on two switches. No vouchers to date!!! so dont be tempted till you get the nod! I tried to input again after switch complete letter with another two codes it would not let me proceed.:mad: lesson learnt follow the t&cs3.55kw 2 systems 2.3 se 1.25 sw installed may 2011 and oct 2011..

On what dates did you make the first claims, agentk?
If they were after 22nd May, it is possible/likely that they may still be paid.
It may have been the use of different codes that resulted in you being stopped from proceeding with your 2nd inputs. If you had resubmitted your claims using the original codes again that may have been more successful.
When you were not allowed to proceed what were the messages that were output?0 -

Not sure! and i am hoping so. and i agree re inputs.
I was just suggesting people don't make the same mistake i did as the deadline aproaches just in case they don't get payed out.
TBH i cocked from from the start i should of ticked codes off as used and who's acc they were for for doh.
Too many letters cards and pins and emails So only £400 for me! note to self be more organised.
The FSWI stayed red i clicked the i am not a human button lol and the other button stayed greyed out if that makes sense.3.55kw 2 systems 2.3 se 1.25 sw installed may 2011 and oct 2011..

It sounds like the system recognised that it already had claims for your URNs (FSWIs) under different RAF codes.
The good news will be that those second codes should still be available for use with different claims.
If it was me, and I was concerned that I had claimed too early originally, I would be tempted to reclaim now using all the original details ( ie URN and Friend Codes). This way if the first claim fails the second could not be disallowed as it would all be valid.
Best of luck anyhow!
edit - sorry, I've just seen your added TBH para and I understand, in light of that, that you may have a bit of a problem!!0
