I am sorry but I can't quite follow your posts, emerald21. Could you please clarify further?

This makes sense if you haven't had a Santander account before - but later on you are talking about a second Santander account that you have?

    • You should have a URN (FSWxxxxxxxx) for your switch
    • Has that switch been completed yet? If not, you need to wait until it has
    • When that switch is complete, you need to claim your voucher, using the URN and the referral code you got from someone else.

    • Where did your 5th code go?

It appears I need to also switch A account elsewhere to this second account with Santander that I have just opened.
For the purposes of this offer, you can switch into your first or your second Santander account. Out of interest, why did you open a second account with Santander?

I don't really want to complicate matters, but in the interest of expediency, I should repeat information which has previously been shared here: you can switch more than one account into a single Santander account. Each switch has its unique URN, and to get your Amazon vouchers, you have to use the unique URN and a unique referral code from another person, once each switch has been completed.

Sorry, this doesn't add up. You say that you had 10 vouchers between you and your daughter to start with. 8 of them you gave to other people. These leaves 2.

Now you say that you switched your account to Santander to enable you and another person get £50 vouchers. Have you submitted the claim form? Have you used the code from your daughter or someone else?

You can't refer yourself - you can't use the vouchers sent to you.
I think she needs to offer the code on the referrals board so that someone else can benefit. However, most on there will be seeking reciprocal referrals I suspect?

She already advertised 5 codes yesterday morning. One-directional offers are being accepted - I know I took some [from others] after I had run out of codes to give out.

I don't think so. It is easy to "generate" an account to kill, but it's simply impossible to "obtain" a new code, since this facility has been pulled out. So the number of codes available will decrease while the number of accounts to kill doesn't have to ;)

This makes her posts even more confusing

But we agree she has one of her own codes left? She just needs to give it away. Of course there's no limit to the number of accounts she could switch into her own Santander accounts...just that she has them, or can open them in time...which she doesn't seem keen to do? I think I'm done with the guesswork now so I'll wait for her to explain clearly the situation.

Zanderman did your referrer receive their voucher for the switch on the 10th May? My brother-in-law still hasn't received his yet as referrer on the 10th May.

No, not yet, she may be making a phone call tomorrow!

A new big batch of vouchers are going out tomorrow. I was assured today that my outstanding ones were among them - but they said that last week as well so I am not holding my breath!

We've had our 2 x Referrer and Referee vouchers for the first 2 switches I did. More to follow.

My Amazon basket is filling up nicely!! The mantra in our house is now "can we get it from Amazon?"
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)

Mine is, "just because we have vouchers doesn't mean we need to waste them on one of those"! :D.
