  • Have done some dailies and have now decided that’s enough and I’m taking DS2 out for a few hours to the sea, need a re-charge and some time away to think..
Will crack on later this eve when I get home.

    WM x 2 currently running.

Envious of Madammim's coastal access ... I'm about as far away from the sea as you can be on this Sceptred Isle.

    HHC at 10:10 anyone?

  • I've just been and decluttered loads of hair, gone from shoulder length to very short! Radical change but very pleased with it.
WM on for the second time and TD on too as it's very cold and foggy this morning and I need the stuff to take back for DD2 this afternoon.
Off to the sea for weekend and forecast is lovely so hopefully will get some walks on the beach in between digging out 2nd half of compost bin.
Ironing and packing once I've had a coffee.

    Have a good weekend all

    In my HHC I

    took out recycling
    emptied DW
handwashed a pair of DS's work trousers (they're technically dry clean)
stripped my be and put duvet over banisters to air
    paired and rehomed socks

then WM was done so that's been pegged out too
I've also wrapped and bagged my sister's birthday present

  • Valli, I always wash OH's work trousers on the wool setting in the WM, even though label says dry clean. Never had any touble and saved a fortune in money and time.

Had a lovely long chat to DD1

Lunch eaten, now to finish ironing and pack.

    (((Hugs))) Mrs MP.

I'm a bit cross because I was all geared up for a great day shifting stuff off the list, but woke up feeling slightly groggy for no reason and am about as cack-handed today as a person can be. So I tidied up a few things, put two loads through WM and I'll peg them out next, went shopping and didn't manage to achieve much else other than bash out three letters that needed writing. Very frustrating.

Still, this week I have re-arranged a lot of things that were a real muddle so they're now nice and sorted, and cleaned out and sorted a cupboard. It's progress that I haven't been making since the beginning of the year, so one day when I don't move a mountain is bearable, I suppose.
    Better is good enough.
