    He has;

Pulled out TV unit, vacuumed up some dust from behind it, cleaned the largest three windows and is now sloooooowly cleaning the top ones.

He's doing a good job, but he's taking sooooooo long. I'm sitting on my hands and drinking tea to not nag about it.

JoJo you are amazingly productive today.

I've loaded, run and emptied DW.
Did another bit of washing up.
Put plastic spine binders on all this year's assessments, filed and labelled them and put away the plastic wallets they were in. I now have more wallets to use for the next few months plus the 'to be filed' tray is no longer erupting.
Spent much of the rest of the day writing a report, trying not to get sidetracked by all the things you can look up when you're on a computer. Ironic as the one I'm writing up is ADHD.......

HHC anyone? I need to move rather than sitting down for a while, without letting my shoulder do much. However the injection has improved matters as I had a good night and no twinges yet.

Well done, Jojo and pigpen - great flying progress.
Glad to hear that your injection has helped, Narc0.
Lots of leftovers turned into soup today!

With DS1's help I have crossed two items off my Toots list this evening, and I also have a plan for making a veg plot in the garden :D
  • Hi all

I am here, one load of washing over airer before we went out this morning (raining here). Spent the day on a university visit with DS2 so out of the house from 9.15am to 7.30pm. Yesterday was a days holiday too, meeting up with family.

This means that I know that I will have a ton of work to go back to tomorrow. Not really enjoying my job at the moment - and I wanted this promotion so much! Part of it is just that I stress so much about it, not sure I am cut out for this much responsibility.

Keep getting stomach ache/indigestion too, not sure if that's just a bit of stress. Anyhow out for friends for a birthday tea tomorrow, that will be nice.

Need some food shopping tomorrow, I have a list.
  • Quick wipeover of the hob (as he still hasn't quite got the hang of cleaning it every time before it takes twenty minutes to scrub grot off it), plates and mugs washed up (I've left the saucepan, chopping board and cutlery for him), few splashes and spills cleaned off the appliances before they become a problem.

It's not that hard to do, surely?

Going to bung a washload of throws on, wash my hair and faff about on YouTube rather than do anything else.

Tomorrow's tasks are for him to take down lights that need washing and carefully clean the ones that don't come down. I could have a go at the settee, as it's trashed with stains in the leather/plastic, but not sure if I CBA.

    Morning :hello:

Popping in to announce that there is nothing on the sofa that shouldn't be on there. :T:j

And there is an A4 sized space on the living room floor where there was a pile of papers :D

BUT there are dirty pots in the kitchen :( - so they will be WUDUPA tonight (before Weekend Willi sees them ;))

    Hugs

  • Oh dear, today is going to be long, I knew I shouldn't have stayed up to watch tv but then it's the first time I've been on tv, local documentary about B***it!!

Lessons most of the day with a longish but late lunch so I might go and try and find some jeans

    So far
    Bed folded back
Dirty washing off floor into laundry basket
    WM on
    Lounge tidied
OH work coffee machine descaled and cleaned

That's it for now, finished coffee so time to go out

Hugs to all and have a nice day!

    Good morning.
Guilty as charged and creeping in quietly. There has been very little flying over the past couple of days. Ok - make that zero.
Yesterday I had a day out with my best friend. It was my Christmas present from her and we had a lovely day. I got back late and DH had kindly sorted dinner. The downside was that DD ate something that we didn’t and was relaying the contents all over the bathroom floor at midnight.
Today’s job is another thorough bathroom clean.
    So far I have:
Changed our bed and put sheets into wm
Washed hair so that shower can get a good clean
WULTD the results of DH’s food preparation activities last night.

Off to dry my hair and then tackle the bathrooms. The meal plan for this week has gone to pot (no pun intended!) so this afternoon will be a regrouping of that.

Morning (just). Washing out on the line and drying again. I like this. We had a nice walk to the park, blossom trees are out which feels early.
