God knows how much I've spent, quite a few Kindle books and MP3's in that but also big expensive items like TVs and computers.
Shame they stopped giving Nectar points, used to pay for our Christmas drink. :rotfl:

Holy moly! When on earth did they give Nectar points?

I think the service outstanding, can't remember a failed delivery. The driver tracker works perfectly and all the drivers are great and friendly.

Customer service top notch, had a SD card fail on me 6 months in, they refunded it via Live chat and didn't ask for it back, and the free returns via Doddle is convenient.

    Up to 2013 I think.

Agree with service and problem resolution, always brilliant.

Had a Wii U that bricked with the day one update, changed it for a new one, same problem, refunded no problems. £800 TV "loaded onto wrong van" at delivery depot, replacement sent next day. :T

    Similar experience.

Posted a thread recently about replacement of 3 year old Kindle Fire for Kids https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5959852/amazon-above-and-beyond-consumer-rights . Getting a replacement after 3 years was already excellent, but then I saw that they had cancelled my monthly subscription, and refunded the part month, because they were giving me the year's free content along with the tablet again.

I suspect that I never have to jump through hoops because I spend an obscene amount with them.

Im assuming your a new customer.

You add item to you basket and go to the next stage where you have to create an account, once account is setup your given delivery options and the first option is "Free one day delivery with a free trial participation with Amazon Prime", it gives a date when you can get it by.

You must have clicked on the first option.

If you did does it matter, just cancel the subscription, its very easy to do.

What a ridiculously entitled attitude you have.

There is no rule or law to say that you have to tick a box to accept Prime, you knew it had been added and said yourself you went ahead with the order so you 100% did give your consent.

You wanted a service (quick and free delivery), that service is only available to prime members so next time either pay the relevant price for the service you want to use or wait longer for the item to arrive. Just because you wanted something doesn't mean you have a right to get it.

You made a mistake, you have received the premium service you wanted without being charged for it due to their generous free trial offer and you have now cancelled but still being given the benefit of the premium perks until your trial runs out. All in all it sound like you've had pretty great service yet you want to complain about it?

Entitled attitude? Please read the words......

Errm - this thread is about automatic inclusion in something which you ****DO NOT WANT****!

I chose the free delivery service - ***NOT*** the ***NEXT DAY*** service which comes with the entitlement of Prime.

I went ahead with the order because I wanted the goods and could NOT find a way to indicate I DID ****NOT**** want or FEEL ***ENTITLED*** to Prime!

I've had the service I or anyone would expect from Amazon as a ***NON PRIME*** member!

The ***ONLY*** reason I have raised this thread is to ask if ***AUTOMATIC*** inclusion in Prime is considered ***NORMAL***.

I cannot believe how my messages are being misinterpreted! Perhaps I should ask how normal that is too?

    End of thread!

You have been told numerous times...........there is no automatic inclusion

Stomping your feet and shouting won't help. Loving the "End of thread" bit :rotfl:

You subscribed to prime due to lack of reading what you was clicking.

    You've ticked the box ;)
  • Is this thread still going? I'm sure it was ended.

OP, did you un-tick the "DO NOT END THIS THREAD" button after your last post, or did you miss it?

You made me go and check mine, I've hit exactly 900 a couple of days back since 2010 (the same mix as you too). I'd have sworn blind I'd had them for much longer than 2010 though.
