When it came to paying for my order, I was told it had been included!!!! As I wanted the order to come through asap and despite going back a number of pages, I couldn't find any options to say I didn't want it, so I completed the order. I then went back onto Amazon to delete it.
I've now taken delivery of the order and one item needs to be returned - so I went back onto Amazon and was told I was still a member of Amazon Prime!!
If you wanted it asap then you have probably selected next day delivery which entails being a prime member.
It is easily cancelled through your online account.0 -

To check got to Your Account, click the Prime box (view benefits and payment settings) and it will give you all the details down the left side of the page.
Edit, so you knew it was included before you completed the order and went ahead anyway? So you had a choice and it was WITH YOUR CONSENT?
I'll say this just one more time.
- At no time did I tick a box or do anything to say I wanted Amazon Prime.
- Yes, I wanted my order as quickly as possible without paying extra charges for it AND without Amazon Prime.
AND
- Yes - I am well aware the consumer is able to go back to Amazon and cancel the Prime membership, but this thread is about an order on which Prime has been added automatically!0 -

Is there any way you can put the web link on MSE so the forum readers can see what you did or not do to get Prime Membership added without you clicking anything.
Don't put up a link if it shows too much from your account page or something like that.0 -

I'm afraid to check how many orders I've put in over the years...
2017 - 25 orders
2018 - 91 orders
2019 - 13 orders so far
I am a Amazon addict!
OP, you rushed your order, but no big issue, as others have said, go to Account, Prime Membership and left hand side, cancel Prime. You'll get to keep the 30 days.0 -

What a ridiculously entitled attitude you have.
There is no rule or law to say that you have to tick a box to accept Prime, you knew it had been added and said yourself you went ahead with the order so you 100% did give your consent.
You wanted a service (quick and free delivery), that service is only available to prime members so next time either pay the relevant price for the service you want to use or wait longer for the item to arrive. Just because you wanted something doesn't mean you have a right to get it.
You made a mistake, you have received the premium service you wanted without being charged for it due to their generous free trial offer and you have now cancelled but still being given the benefit of the premium perks until your trial runs out. All in all it sound like you've had pretty great service yet you want to complain about it?0 -
Whether you know it or not you chose 1 day free delivery with an amazon prime free for 30 days box already ticked.
there is no if buts or maybes its what you done0 -
