So Gladstones have now responded to the previous email with the following:
We have made our Client's position clear and this will not be repeated.
We are not instructed to discuss the day to day administration of the site and as such, cannot comment further but it is also not relevant to the charge itself.
It is not relevant to the charge nor in line with the aims of the pre-action protocol for our Client to disclose their audits.
We will issue proceedings in the next 14 days in the absence of payment, any further re-iterations of your position will be disregarded as it is clear an amicable agreement can not be made.
Regards
Seems to me that they are unable to respond to the points I raised. So shall I just go ahead and reply with "I am now seeking debt advice, albeit any debt is denied, and thus you must put the case on hold for 30 days" as per your suggestion?
PS. I've not yet heard back regarding the DVLA FOI.0 -
Yep - read the pre-action protocol for debt claims and search it for 'advice' and you will find you are entitled to state this & get more time.So shall I just go ahead and reply with "I am now seeking debt advice, albeit any debt is denied, and thus you must put the case on hold for 30 days" as per your suggestion?
Put every hurdle in the way all the way through, make it cost them to get you to a hearing, regardless of outcome. This is how we fight - we do still win 99% of cases and we cost the scammers a lot more than they gain in the 1% of cases lost!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I'm not going to hi-jack your thread, but I have the same situation in the very same car parking area. A vehicle I am the keeper of was stopped just in front of the Pay and Display line at the junction for exactly 7mins but the ANPR kicked in. That Starbucks has a lot to answer for!!!
Any idea who owns that land... Is it Starbucks as might be worth writing to them. I suspect it's Halfords though as the camera is mounted on their wall.0 -
There is no ANPR, it's CCTV.
Why would anyone park there - I know Broadwater and it would be daft to stop there! You'd be better off on a double yellow (not joking).
Never go near private land except when using a supermarket etc. (and cover your numberplate when using supermarket/hotel/hospital car parks - ALWAYS protect yourself). No letting scammers have your VRN on a plate.
However I am happy to attend court locally with either/both of you if I am free when the time comes. If you wish. I'm just an ordinary local(ish) lady who fancies attending a court case or two to help people, if I can. Never tried one in person yet.

That works for me - Even if I do lose (which I shouldn't), I can rest easier knowing it's cost them more!
Anyway, I've sent the reply.
Have you any experience in FOI stuff? How long it takes on average to get a response?0 -

That would be very welcome. Thank you.
I'll PM you with details on court dates etc should it get that far.0 -

http://letmegooglethat.com/?q=How+long+for+a+UK+foi+to+be+processedPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I have appreciated all the help I have got on this forum and plan on passing my support I have received onto others. However the manner of your reply was not necessary.
I was actually asking for a personal experience, you know, like what these forums are great for. Google isn't always the most helpful. For example... my wife and I purchased a product at the start of the year, a Google search asking how long it takes for the company to deliver said product, would give a search result stating it can take anywhere between 6-8 weeks. Well, through multiple delays ours didn't turn up until almost 13 weeks had passed. So if I had asked for personal experience on the company on a forum - I may have been found a more realistic answer.
Therefore, in this case if you don't have personal experience with FOI, then instead of posting a sarcy "google it" comment, perhaps just refraining from commenting would have been the best option :silenced:.
I'll now get off my soap box.
As I said, I do appreciate all the support I have had up to now and find the lengths many people will go to to help others very warming.

I have decided to re-submit the request using https://forms.dft.gov.uk/foi-dft-and-dft-agencies/ and hopefully I'll get a reply within the next 30 days (whether it be from the original request or this new one).

Perhaps it has skipped your notice just how busy this forum is. If we were to answer every single question that is eminently (and easily) Googlable we would implode. This isn’t a Facebook-style chat room.
Now there must be many similar questions on other peoples’ threads for which you have the answer, but I see no contribution from you to any other thread but those of your own. Are you here just to take, or are you going to contribute as well?
I’m more than happy to comply with your wishes, especially in light of the emojis!. That will reduce the number of daily cases to 99 for me now.perhaps just refraining from commenting would have been the best option  :silenced:Please note, we are not a legal advice forum.
