I agree with the others but unfortunatly i pressed submitt when i wanted to open a new page to go through th IS website before i posted.

On now reading that scarlett i think it is to do with your house. What i am confused about is why they have not written to you to confirm that your file is being transferred. As according to the IS website they do normally inform you. That said i have had a lost item in regards to royal mail and the IS service.

I think i have made this worse instead of better. Sorry:o

  • Oh Dalip, don't apologise, you were only trying to help. You haven't made things worse, I promise :) The letters yesterday were from the original OR, no-one new at all, so it's not a case of having to explain anything to anyone new :)

I'd be surprised if it were the loan though, to be honest. (just remembered this) The OR commented on it during our telephone interview - it was along the lines that they should never have given us that loan, it put us into massive negative equity and was, in his opinion "irresponsible lending" and that it "served them right" that they would be unlikely to get anything from the sale of the house.

Hmmmmmm, you think? The situation at the moment is it's not yet been formally reposessed....... that's set for this Tuesday @ 10.00am (how very precise!) - it's definitely happening then, the baliffs are going in with a locksmith etc.... to do their stuff. But the OR doesn't know this yet - I was planning on waiting until it had "officially" happened and then letting him know.

If it was about the house I don't see why they made 2 separate appointments on different days?

    :j :j

Yes, good point FYP. Hopefully by this time tomorrow we should have been put out of our misery and at least know why we've been summoned like this <gulp> & <wibble>.

Are you seeing your original OR scarlett?.
I think where we are all getting confused is this business about your IS details changing.Take that out of the equation, pretend you never saw that and whats left?.D

    Or its a mistake:D
Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all …………. :(
  • The interview done in an OR's office are NEVER done under caution. The statements obtained at interview are taken under the Perjury Act but the interviewee is never cautioned.
how complicated was yr BR? were properties involved, any large pre-BR spending? expensive cars to haggle over, equity? etc?

yr BR's were individual, hence the two interviews, but you should be able to go in together

worry if you hear "under caution" mentioned...if it IS mentioned, decline the interview unless you can have legal representation...
