Sorry to hear that you've got to go in. Do you have any idea's what it is they might be concerned about on the CC's?

I don't suppose there is any chance you could go in with DH on Friday and wait outside, then if he is finished earlier ask if you can fo;;ow him.

Tiger - I honestly have no idea there were no *huge* purchases made, I know that for definite. No plasma screen telly or expensive holiday or anything major like that. I can't go with him on Friday unfortunately, because I'm working at 4.00pm and can't guarantee we'll be back in time (his appointment is at 1.00pm).

I don't know....... it just feels like a smack in the face, after all this time. <spoilt child> It's not fair

It just feels like it's one thing after the other at the moment and I feel very wobbly of bottom lip right now OR hasn't rung me back yet either, I rang at 12.15....... going to call him again now.

Just spoken to him and have re-re-arranged mine back to Monday afternoon at 3.00pm. Asked him if he could tell me a little more about what it's about and his words were (not exactly word-for-word, but pretty much) "it's to discuss your spending in the 2 years leading up to your BR and then we'll send the statement of the interview to London for them to decide if a BRO is appropriate".

Well, knock me down with a feather - I did NOT see that coming.

Okay...... yes, I was careless at times and spent beyond my means. I was foolish and made mistakes. But I never borrowed a penny that I did not think I could repay.

Gosh Scarlett, I've been reading this thread with interest. Really sorry to hear this-as others have said, what a *****er!!

I just hope it all works out ok for you. Remember a BRU/BRO is nothing really. I know it's worrying but in reality what's the worst they can do...?

they may be separate interviews but you can go in together, if anyone tries to stop you ask on what authority and decline the interview till you have legal representation as you feel uncomfortable being alone and interviewed, take a personal voice recorder, if you are cautioned decline the interview till you can have a solicitor present, if they record the interview you have a legal right to a copy.
