Honeypie all you have to do is phone up to cancel
if your out of your 1 year contract.
Tell them your never home to watch it and they
will give you Sky+ & free install.
If the person doesn't give it to you hang up
and do it again and get a different person
    and you should be fine.

I just sent an email with the usual loyal customer stuff. They emailed back with an offer of a free service on my current box, 3 months of £12 off the package and the offer of a £49 Sky+ box. I just used the general form and saved me having to talk to a customer services person as Im not good at that stuff.

I am just about to get Sky+, if anyone can let me have the codes to get Sky+ and installation for free then I would be more than happy to let you have my customer number when I get it so you get the rewards.

PM me your details and thanks in advance.
if i had known then what i know now
  • Hi Dodsy,
Is an upgrade to the Sky +?
I recently recieved 2 forms from Sky saying that i can set up 2 new customers and they would get the Sky +, connection etc free.
Its the promo where the person gets £50 so think that instead of the other £50 going to you then you'd get the Sky +.

If i can help than give me PM

    Yours

David, I have PM'd you, but basically I want to join Sky and would like to use the promo you have to get Sky+ and connection free. You would then get the £50.

If you could PM me back the details I'll need to get the free connection etc and what I need to tell them to get you your £50 then we're both quids in!

Hi, I recently got sky+ installed for free with no monthly subs charge.........I phoned them up and told them I wanted to cancel ( which I had no intention of doing ) told them I didnt feel I got value for money. I have the newer box with larger memory and the anytime tv thingy on it.
    Good luck.

  • HI THERE,
I HAVE JUST LOOKED ON THE WEBSITE Sky TV Equipment Comparison - Sky Packages , AND IT STATES ON THERE THAT THE MONTHLY FEE FOR MULTIROOM STANDARD SET IS FREE TO SKY CUSTOMERS. I KNOW THAT THE STARS AT THE BOTTOM INDICATE HOW MUCH ETC, BUT THIS CLEARLY STATES THAT IT IS FREE TO SKY CUSTOMERS! IT DOSN'T SAY NEW CUSTOMERS. OR HAVE I READ THIS WRONG??
WHEN I ARGUED THIS OUT WITH NUMEROUS SKY C/SERVICE STAFF, THEY SAID THAT IT'S NOT RIGHT!! I HAVE E MAILED THEM, AND AWAIT THEIR REPLY, AS I WANT TO BUY 2 MULTIROOM SETS. DO YOU THINK I SHOULD MAKE OUT THAT I WANT TO CANCEL MY SUB?
    THANKS
    TRESE

I read that as the equipment is free, the box, it says at the bottom that multiroom is £10 per month?
