Sky+ free upgrade code???

Hello. I was reading the forums last week and saw something to do with a CODE that can be quoted when ringing up - to get a FREE SKY+ upgrade and installation of a sky+ box to NEW CUSTOMERS (of which I will be... hopefully ).

But I can't, for the life of me, remember where this was on the site. Have tried searching the forums and on google but isn't really working (no results found ). That's newbies for you... I think it was on this board...

Pretty desperate for this as am wanting to cancel 12 month Tiscali talk, broadband and free line rental bundle after only 3 months as are double charging me (£39ish)!

Would be grateful for any help or redirection on this!

P.S.: have heard you can get money back on quidco - what is this and how does it work?

I rang sky today: £28 for 3 mixes, mid broadband with wireless router and unlimited talk... seems like a good offer BUT THERE IS NO LINE RENTAL! even though, £28+£10 with BT is still LESS than tiscali are swindling me for!

Thanks everyone for replying, I couldn't even get on the internet since the original post becaus its stopped working altogether.

I'm thinking of cancelling but I think I can pay some sort of fee/will be charged...?

What I really need is a Sky+ upgrade code (I think the other person gets something when i join too, so would be able to give my customer no. to them if they want it ) - and not the M&S vouchers the referrals thread people seem to be offering...

Any suggestions?

Hi,

I too would love an upgrade code. I phoned Sky this morning to see how much it would cost to get Sky+ - They tell me its £149 + £30 installation for existing customers... they then went on to say if I took out extra room sky, skytalk & sky broadband I could have it for £99 + £30!. Just like the new customers.. I did mention I could cancel my existing subscription - wait a few months and sign up again without having to commit to phone etc etc!.

I am furious with Sky now - I have been a loyal customer for nearly 10 years - and they can't even offer me a cheaper sky+ price unless I take out numerous things I don't want nor need..... I would be willing to sign another 12 month contract with them for just the TV! :mad:

Sorry for crashing your post - but I would really appreciate some advice too..

My codes give you new customers a free sky+ Box & install.
If you give me your customer No: I get £50 M&S vouchers.
You need to talk to Tiscali about leaving because they
will probably try and charge you for the next 12 months.

Honeypie all you have to do is phone up to cancel
if your out of your 1 year contract.
Tell them your never home to watch it and they
will give you Sky+ & free install.
If the person doesn't give it to you hang up
and do it again and get a different person
and you should be fine.

I didn't have an upgrade code, but was offered upgade to sky+, with broadband, skytalk and multiroom for £49 with the £30 installation fee waived. Only thing is the multiroom costs £10 month, but as i'm reducing my viewing package it works out cheaper.

Ah. Thanks for the pm stating i didn't make myself clear...

I am a new customer to sky (or hopefully will be ) and apparently you acn use the codes to get a free installation and sky + box when you join.
