What a rainy cold day! We're hiding indoors today with the heating on. After feeling great after my haircut I decided that now was the time to shift the extra stone I've put on in weight during the past year so I've joined up to WW online. I've never done WW before so not sure if it'll suit my or not. Today is my second proper day of tracking my points and so far I've been starving so i think it's going to take a while to find things which fill me up. I'm also having to think of healthier family meals as I obviously don't want to feed young children lower calorie versions of cheese etc. as they need to keep their calorie intake up. Maybe just smaller portions is the way to go.

Fruit and veg. And sugar free jelly are all good ones on WW. Depending on course which plan you follow.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

I hadn't thought about sugar free jelly debtfreeoneday....I'll have to add it to the shopping list
. The diet is going ok so far...4lb lost and I've resisted the temptation of wine, chocolate and biscuits for a whole week. The cravings have started to set in now though so I'll see how long my will power lasts
I have brought myself a vodka and diet Coke pre-mixed can as a Saturday night treat so I'm looking forward to that. I'm also trying out a recipe for sweet and sour chicken tonight from the hairy dieters cook book I've had for years and never used.
I don't think I'm doing well on the grocery challenge as we've had 3 online deliveries so far this month (we pushed out the boat and had an Ocado delivery to get nice food for DS Birthday) and also done two top up shops. I'll update my spreadsheet later and see what the damage is
No other exciting news here. Our washing machine is broken. Luckily it will be repaired under warranty, but it'll work out that we'll be without the machine for a month as they engineers are booked upMortgage-free wannabe 2025 £571/30002 -
Oh dear...just added up all our grocery spends and we've so far managed to spend £373.90 out of our £500 budget with another two weekly shops to do! Time to start raiding the freezer!Mortgage-free wannabe 2025 £571/30001

You can still pull it in with a few meals raiding the freezer and store..

I've made a small overpayment of £8 today as I had a payout from Quidc0
Today was also weigh in day and I've lost 1lb this week so good news on the diet front too!
I am still under my grocery budget...well for now anyway! I've just done a little weekly shop for next week as the plan is to use more up out the freezer. This week I've used up one batch of Bolognese, some turkey mince and some chicken out the freezer. That leaves more Bolognese sauce, some sausages, and mince for next week.Mortgage-free wannabe 2025 £571/30002 -

Well I've added up my grocery spends for may and I've come in at £502.14, so an overspend of only £2.14
I'm going to try and budget £500 for June too as we've got two special celebrations in June, then hopefully we can start at looking at reducing our spending in July.
I'm really looking forward to the long weekend especially as it gives 'warmer' weather finally. Going to visit family one day and chill out with the kids in the garden the rest of the time.
I decided to treat myself and ordered a new handbag this morning. What I forgot is that it's DHs birthday soon and now I've spent all my spending money on myself.....oops... birthday presents are overrated anywayMortgage-free wannabe 2025 £571/30002 -
