    Hi Malc,

I'm currently on E.ON Go Online 1 Year v18 which ends in October and has exit fees of £30 per fuel. If I switch to Fix 2 Year MSE Collective Feb 2019 will I need to pay this as I would be moving from one E.On tariff to another?

Also, will I still get the £25 cashback?

    Thanks in advance.
  • Is it just me or is the Cheap Energy Club down all the time?
Whenever I go to login I get...

    Oops! We've had an accident...

Cheap Energy Club is currently down. Our techies are working furiously to fix the issue and we're hoping to be back up soon.

I saw that you recommended to switch to BULB energy. I switched but then read warnings about them so I tried to contact them by phone on number they gave, Without warning I have been charged £7.50 for a three second call!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You must warn people that BULB charge £7.50 if you dial the number they give!!I rang vodaphone to complain as I have unlimited minutes. They say they only got 55p of this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Welcome to MSE :hello:

I'm not sure what number you used to contact the supplier, but they quote a 0300 number on their website.

This number would be included within any inclusive free minutes you may have on your tariff, or otherwise would not cost more than 30ppm via Vodafone (depending on your tariff)

Calls to 0300 numbers are charged the same as calls to any 01 or 02 number when you use a BT landline.
  • I have used it in the past. Just tried and it’s down again for me. Could someone else check please?

I've just checked again, and it is working fine here.

Maybe it hates me as I have just clicked your link, logged in and get the same error message! Frustrating! Especially as my E.On tariff runs out today!
  • Thanks for your interest in this tariff MoneyMate. As an existing customer, the switch will be from the date you applied through the MSE Cheap Energy Club.

could you help me please, i am an existing E.on customer and switched to the E.on fix 2 year MSE collective on the 13th Feb via the cheap energy club, but after speaking to a lady this morning at E.on she says there is no record of any switch or any correspondence with the cheap energy club, what's going on. E.on should have heard something by now, all i am doing is switching tariffs not suppliers.
