Back with them officially tomorrow, not heard anything more from Utilita. I have a new on line account with the new number which shows me as being on the same Aug tariff as before so it looks like some of the bits are joining back together, again will have to see how it pans out.0

I can save £50 by moving. Are these worth switching to?0

Did anyone receive November bill? The DD is supposed to be taken today but wasn't.0

I know this was mentioned on this thread sometime ago but I thought it worth another push. Not holding out much hope but nothing ventured.
I received a reply yesterday from Santander.
"Unfortunately, GC Re Symbio Energy Limited isn't eligible for cashback. This is because the company is a billing company and not a direct supplier. A billing company is a third party that will pay your supplier on your behalf. To earn cashback, you'll need to pay an eligible supplier directly by Direct Debit.
If however you choose to go through the company direct claiming under the (OIN ######) you will be eligible for 2% cashback on this Direct Debit.
We note you were getting cashback for GC Re Octopus-Iresa, however this was approved on 12 October 2016. Since this date, a review was done regarding go cardless payments. A decision was made to not pay for any new go cardless direct debits, as the company is a billing company and not a direct supplier."0 -

They would have to have approved GoCardless because that's the party that BoxerfanUK is paying.
I agree though Santander's argument seems more all-embracing0 -

BoxerfanUK wrote: »Yes I get that but it's a 123 account so 20K @1.5% (minus £5 monthly fee) as against 0.90p per month lost on the energy cashback. It's only electric with Symbio.
You could change your account to a 123 Lite account and pay only £1 a month. You still get cashback and you could move the vast majority of your cash to something like Marcus or one of the other best buys and get around 1.5% interest that way. Then just 'top up' your 123 account from your savings account when standing orders and direct debits are due.
That's what I did. I keep a nominal £200 in my 123 Lite account then send money from my Marcus account to bolster the 123 Lite account when I know I've got a direct debit or standing order due to go out.
I'm still getting 1.5% on my spare cash in Marcus and I'm getting cashback in my 123 Lite account of over £5 a month for a £1 a month fee.
New Marcus customers get less than 1.5% but there are now other accounts out there that pay that or a little bit more I believe.0
