Just called them and asked to stay on original tariff.  She said no that I will be moved to the new one.  I said you are showing on price comparison websites, 3 cheaper tariffs than what you are moving me to.  She said to use the "official" website of symbioenergy.co.uk so I gave up.  Now I will need to eat humble pie and start a switch to Neon Reef.

Hi.  Yes I switched to a variable.  I just done a check and Symbio are offering cheaper tariffs to what they are moving me to.  I don't understand that.  Looks like I will be going back to Neon Reef.  I'll quote the rest of the email after this message.  Too much for me to take in today.
Unfortunately you've shot yourself in the foot. I don't really understand why in this day and age with increasing prices that you didn't go to one of the fixed tariffs. Particularly when this very thread is littered with people on the variable deal who have been moved to a more expensive renewal tariff and not allowed to change, just like you have experienced yourself.

So now you're gonna eat humble pie again and go back to neon reef. Have you thought about octopus go faster? you'd need a smart meter for that. That is currently the cheapest tariff for me, which i'm on and beats symbios rate for me.

Hi.  I just took the cheapest.  My fault.  I done another check using Energy Lynx and it brought up a company I had never heard of, Logicor.  15p unit and 15p standing charge fixed.  I got to choose my switch date so picked the day before Symbio move me to the new one.

Hi.  Will do.  It says this on the welcome email.

    Our promise to you

If your energy bill for any months during the winter increases by more than 20%, we will freeze the extra charge as a separate debt and give you up to 6 months to pay it separately.

For our vulnerable customers this debt will be instantly written off. We will never switch off your energy in winter.

Just tried calling these clowns as I move out today and every time I press a menu option it says my call cannot be put through due to my area code. What a joke!

0333 050 9372 works for me (although my call was placed in a queue before I hung up).

I registered with Logicor on friday and received the email below. I 'm just wondering if they are still trading as they dont seem to have any reviews or any online account facilities. I also picked a date (Sept) as i am a former GNE customer who was trans to EDF. I 'm hoping that I will get some other correspondence from them in the next week or 2 clarifying what happens next.

    Welcome

If you can't get through to Symbio, try withholding your number by using the prefix 141 from a landline or #31# from a mobile.
