I'm now in my third month with them and no complaints here either. Their bills are about ten times as complicated as they need to be, but I was aware of that before I signed up.

They are a bunch of clowns but please find me another supplier only charging 10.778p per unit and I'll happily switch.

They are certainly the cheapest for me.
I'm happy lending them my monthly payment a month in advance.
They may not be for everyone, but no complaints here.
It's funny how happy customers never put much on these forums!

Pretty much exactly my view regarding Symbio,a few minor irritations here and there certainly nothing worth getting medieval over, imho.
We must be huge fibbers though,as there are no happy Symbio customers, apparently.
Vaguely entertaining though are the musings of those continuing to grind axes for whatever reasons best known to themselves.

To "satisfied customers" - it is probably fair comment that your average MSE-er is rather more savvy when it comes to having the time and the nouse to go with the ups and downs of a "good deal" than is your average punter - who is much more likely to post on sites like TP.

Incidentally - there are many companies who consistently get glowing (and seemingly genuine) TP reviews. Compare SE's score of 1.8/5 to the leccy company to which I switched which scores 4/5.

During the 13 months I was with SE I did rather enjoy the challenge of trying (successfully) to stay ahead but I did jump ship when I felt things were going to get a bit too choppy - and still managed to get a better (fixed) deal elsewhere - and to come out unscathed (which, if TP posts are to be believed seems to have become very difficult).

But is it not then fair to try to warn potential 'lambs to the slaughter' of the trouble that may lay ahead? Even if, as suggested, it may be a small proportion (but who knows?) that are getting royally shafted they could easily be less-savvy, or even vulnerable, folk. I think that matters. I certainly wouldn't wish it on my loved ones. And anyone that has the ability to see just what's going on should be calling it out. Seriously.  :/
I'd rather be a disappointed optimist than a self-satisfied pessimist

How I wish I'd grabbed a rate at that level when they were on offer!!

For the moment I'm staying with them - probably easier to hang on until the end than switch away.  My view of their ineptitude swings from anger to amusement, depending when I last had an interaction with them.  A four month battle to change my EAC was more of a matter of principle than importance.

I've been with Symbio for about 6 months and have yet to experience any problems.  They were the cheapest supplier I could find and remain so.  They are having difficulty predicting my pattern of electricity usage and so far I am quite a bit in credit, despite their requirement for advance payment.

and yet you go on to say:

I suppose it all depends on what one expects of an energy company but, for me, that would constitute a problem. I guess we all have different standards.

Don't worry, @Chino, I'm not going to blow it all on the horses or Easter eggs or whatever.  When the time comes to pay the bill I'll have the funds to do so.

Are you sure you don’t mean your account is in debit, you’re implying here they’ve taken less money from you than the energy you’ve actually used, right? (Meaning if it carry’s on you will be owing them money to settle your bill)

Right, so if my account with Symbio is in debit that means I am in credit, which is what I wrote.  I hadn't realised that was so hard to understand.
