Except that they'd already kicked off their interest free loan project at the start of 2020, before Covid kicked in.CRISPIANNE3 said:Well that explains why good customers like myself and many others are charged over estimated bills.

"Viable profitable business"
You can judge the truthfulness of this from publicly available records:
2014 £0.9m loss
2015 £1.1m loss
2016 £1.1m loss
2017 £1.2m loss
2018 £6.5m profit (would have been £5.9m loss but the parent company agreed to write off a £12.4m loan)

Perhaps the 90 odd quid I just bunged them via their bank details will help.
I'd rather be a disappointed optimist than a self-satisfied pessimist0 -
Latest trust pilot review, if it can be believed as being valid give that its 5stars, claims Symbio to be great and potential customers shouldn’t be put of by fluctuating DD as they offer great tariffs etc. As an example the reviewers own DD fluctuate and range from £62 to £200 a month.Sorry, if your finances are such that you’re not bothered by a DD fluctuating by that much, you’re probably not the type of person that concerns themselves with searching out the cheapest tariff.
Decent customer service goes a long way as does a company you can rely on and trust. Not sure Symbio ticks any of those boxes.0 -
Only other source of reliable information except Facebook and Twitter,obviously.;).0

In a senior moment I tried to give them a more positive review on TP but got pulled and according to that site because I violated the rules. There was nothing negative only picking up on the positive. This was when I thought they had got back to sensible estimates.0
