Anyway, if you are stuck indoors, you don't need to eat as much.0

Yet strangely people with money to spend on excess food do so.od244051 said:Anyway, if you are stuck indoors, you don't need to eat as much.No man is worth crawling on this earth.

Probably better for mental & physical health to take up knitting or something (have you seen how much real wool costs?!) Distracts mind & hands from stomach, a bit,0

I know this thread is about Lidl & Aldi and this article mentions Aldi. I was in Tesco and Aldi yesterday, I go fairly early but there was no queue at either store, no restrictions and no panic buying. Yes, some people had their trolley full but it was all mixed items, not loads of one item, so just looked like their normal shop.0 -
I was in Lidl today and loads of loo roll dotted around but didn’t go down the aisle itself.LindsayT said:https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8768785/Morrisons-supermarket-limit-number-items-customers-buy.html

Don’t forget that Lidl Plus app had 15% off coupon for loo roll and tissues last week.0 -

The app has proved popular.0 -
It's a good proposition - I haven't done the sums, but seems to me to be several times as generous as the schemes from the big supermarkets.DCFC79 said:The app has proved popular.
I got my £2 voucher for £100 spend yesterday - so 2%, whereas the basic rate of return on Morrisons More Card is about 0.5% for groceries and slightly less for fuel.0 -
But you have to spend £100 which I won't. I've got a corporate gift card which gives me 3% off at Tesco and 4% at sainsburys on top of the loyalty card points.Cornucopia said:

Mind the scratch cards are quite good, so far this month I've had 2 x 25p, 1 x 50p & 2 x £1. These are possibly open to abuse, as my local lidl has self service so can just put each item through individually & get multiple scratch cards

Aside from the £5 off £25, I haven't used the app. The app offers are not to my liking, and unless there is a paricularly good Specialbuy here is no way I am spending £50pm in Lidl, let alone £100.No man is worth crawling on this earth.
