Has Lidl done away with the extra mature white cheddar ? My store has only had the red since lockdown and the staff don't seem to know why

Depends on where you are, I managed to get some this week here in Fife with the brand name Aberfoyle Dairies, this is our usual supplier and they have been a bit hit & miss for a couple of months.

Lidl seems to have stopped selling my favourite humous flavour (red pepper). They have replaced it with "Sweet chili" flavour, which is utterly disgusting. It seems to contain a lot of sugar and is far too sweet. I don't really need any sugar in my humous. Does anybody know whether Aldi is still selling their red pepper humous? It is not as nice as the Lidl one was but it's definitely better than the sweet chili one.
Yes, Aldi do still sell the red pepper one. I'm getting increasingly frustrated by the trend towards "chilli-everything" as I have a severe reaction to the stuff and have to avoid it like the plague!

Ours is Dale farms, it really is superb for the price point. The red stuff is just nasty and the mature tastes like any other branded cheddar, insipid

Has anyone seen the Naturis Ace Vitamin Juice Drink 1.5 litres in Lidl recently?
Like it for a change from Orange juice but I've not seen it for about 3 months. They have the individual size in packs but they work out about twice the price.

Lidl seem to have been having supply problems with Juices and Squash for a long while now.

Mango Drink (1L) is also AWOL and Blackcurrant Squash has now reverted to the original recipe and packaging.

I have noticed too because the lower-sugar cranberry juice and the pomegranate juices are very hit & miss - more "miss", sadly.
Also their bottles of Ribena squash have gone up in price by quite a lot from (IIRC) £1-59 to £1-99 with none of the reduced sugar variety to be had.

Does Aldi sell ginger ale - low sugar/diet version? Lidl don't sell it on their mixers as had standard tonic, diet tonic, soda water and bitter lemon. They would do better if swapped BL for GA.

Anyone noticed the short dates on the milk in Lidl pre lockdown and beyond? Skimmed had 10th and SS had 11th so had to resort to buying their filtered SS as still got half a pint left in other bottle and not going to go through 4 pints in 4 days.

Short dates on a lot of the fresh stuff in Aldi, maybe people aren't buying so much and using up the stuff they panic bought, or in the case of milk, drinking alcohol or fruit teas at home instead of tea/coffee...
