Assumed it would go through automatically but it seems the checkout operator needs to manually adjust
Just beware if buying half price goods.
I thought they do go through automatically.0 -
I've never been overcharged for half price goods - and I check before I leave the store.

I've been over charged before but didn't realise until I got home, so checked this time.
The checkout operator said "sorry, I missed those" and had to call a manager to sort it. Of course there was a massive queue who had to wait while it was sorted. I nearly didn't bother but that wouldn't have been very MSE :rotfl:You're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -

I've just seen Ideal Home magazine recommend the new scents in the Aldi "Jo Malone"-like candle range, including Bitter Orange. Has anyone tried them? From what I have observed, this is one line that is year-round and never subject to a red stickerValue-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

You can always come back to the cashier after they have moved on to the next customer - that gives them the option of calling the manager to deal with the overcharging.0

I would try the bitter orange.

I like how lidl has the 20p stickers that have a barcode on them, aldi should do that0 -
A mundane item, I know, but I got some new bin bags from Lidl expecting them to be the flimsy white plastic ones, and they turned out to be substantial transparent plastic - much, much stronger (probably tougher than the black bin bags).
Lidl "Purio" 20x 50l swing bin liners. 79p0 -

I like the lime, mandarin and basil too (No 1). It's very popular and I've had to dig around to find any.0 -
I've stopped buying cottage cheese in aldi as it goes off very quickly - at times even before the use by date and unopened. So I now buy it from lidl where it does what I'd expect - it lasts much longer and doesn't go off early.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
